Silver Starburst Medallion Necklace

One of the best necklaces I've seen and wearing. I got to wear this for a social event, and it was one heck of a conversation starter. I had a look at this purely for the star design in the middle. The message that came with it adds a lot more meaning to the necklace. I absolutely love it. It's rather lightweight, so you won't feel it weighing down on you, and due to the chain it's using, it won't tangle with the other necklaces if you wear more than one with your attire. I have tried both, but if you want it to stand out on its own, then wear it solo. The necklace itself also provides a subtle shine, and it doesn't look like it's susceptible to tarnishing, but I wouldn't suggest wearing this during workouts or anything like that. Other than that, add this to your wardrobe. This is a very beautiful piece to add to your jewelry.

So, the front of this really is lovely. I got it for my daughter, and she is delighted. The star is shiny and the little crystals surrounding it are sparkly. The chain seems substantial without being chunky. The reason I say it's lower quality than expected is the back, which isn't finished. It's just open, and you can see the reverse of the pattern. So if the necklace gets flipped over while wearing it, it's kind of like you're looking at the back of a cross stitch, instead of seeing a smooth, finished back, like I would expect. So I guess I'm unimpressed with that, even though the necklace does look very nice.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE S-T-O-P putting labels on the actual boxes that jewelery comes in. I strongly feel that it ruins an aspect of these items when they are being purchased as gifts for others. They are not easily removed, and oftentimes cause some element of damage to the box, and especially in the case of this necklace, the box is an important part of the gift.
